► The most intriguing double-bill of the year — the Marshall Crenshaw y Los Straightjackets tour — arrives at the Echo. RJ Bloke opens the night.
► Indie rapper MC Lars holds forth at the Hi Hat, supported by Big O and Richie Branson.
