Los Angeles concerts for Friday:

► With their new album “V” just out, the Bronx rock the El Rey Theatre, joined by Plague Vendor and ’68.
TOKiMONSTA, whose new album “Lune Rouge” arrives Oct 6, plays the Wiltern, joined by Kingdom, Kami and KingJet.
► It’s Night 2 with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and Lucinda Williams at the Hollywood Bowl.
Dent May celebrates the release of his new album “Across the Multiverse” at the Bootleg Theater, with Steady Holiday and Jimmy Whispers supporting.
Chicano Batman does the second of three nights at the Fonda Theatre, with Khruangbin and Brainstory opening.
Milky Chance headline the Palladium behind their latest album “Blossom,” with Vista Kicks opening.
Deerhoof, whose new album “Mountain Moves” came out earlier this month, visit the Teragram Ballroom.
Linda Perhacs does two shows at the Hotel Café in support of her new album “I’m a Harmony.” Fatai and Cosmos & Creature also play the Café.
Andrew Belle holds forth at the Troubadour behind his new album “Dive Deep,” with Praytell supporting.
Sure Sure play the Satellite, along with Karen Kilgariff and Huxlee.
► And long-running experimental multimedia group Psychic TV visit the Echoplex, with LA Drones supporting.
► And the 10th Desert Stars Festival kicks off at Pappy & Harriet’s, with a Day 1 lineup featuring Entrance, KOLARS, RF Shannon and more.
