Depeche Mode does the first of four Hollywood Bowl dates on their Global Spirit Tour. Warpaint opens.
► Swedish sister duo First Aid Kit visit the Theatre at Ace Hotel, with Van William supporting.
Kan Wakan celebrates the release of its new album, the triple-LP “Phantasmagoria,” with a show at the Moroccan Lounge, with Jesse Jo Stark and Avi Buffalo supporting.
► British rockers Nothing but Thieves headline the El Rey Theatre in support of their new album “Broken Machine,” released last month. Missio and Airways open.
► It’s Macklemore at the Wiltern.
► Leading in to their appearance at this weekend’s Desert Daze, French quintet La Femme headline the Regent Theater, with Naomi Greene supporting.
Less Than Jake rock the Teragram Ballroom, joined by Red City Radio and Protagonist.
► Belgian hardcore band Lords of Acid visit the Fonda Theatre in support of their new album “Pretty in Kink,” with Combichrist, Christian Death, En Esch and Night Club supporting.
► And Andrew Bird unveils the live debut of “Echolocations: River” (released Friday) at Zebulon Café — a show that includes visuals and footage from the second part of the artist’s Echolocation series. (This recording took place on the Los Angeles River under the Hyperion Bridge.)
