Heavyweight rockers Arcade Fire KO’d a full house at the Forum on Friday night with a flurry of musical punches, including songs from their new album “Everything Now.” The band is calling their current round of gigs the Infinite Content Tour, and Friday’s show, performed from a revolving stage made to look like a boxing ring, provided a seemingly infinite number of thrills for the ravenous crowd.

Before Arcade Fire hit the stage, an announcer called out: “I’m not legally allowed to say ‘Are you ready to rumble?,’ but are you ready?” Then he started to announce Arcade Fire members as if they were about to enter a bout, with their faces and statistics (such as height and number of KO’s [“infinite”]) before the show kicked off with “Everything Now,” “Signs of Life” and “Rebellion (Lies).”

The rotating stage definitely allowed for the band to have more interaction with the crowd, which danced throughout the night. During “Neon Bible,” everyone in the crowd lit up the flashlights on their cellphones and sang the lyrics “It’s in the neon Bible, the neon Bible / Not much chance for survival / If the neon Bible is right.” The band’s two hours onstage were illuminated brightly by giant disco balls overhead.

Angel Olsen opened the night to a sparse crowd, which eventually grew to a nearly full house by the time she ended with “Give It Up.”
