Los Angeles concerts for Friday:

► Ted Leo has a new album, “The Hanged Man,” released in September, and brings Ted Leo & the Pharmacists to the Teragram Ballroom tonight as part of a big tour of the U.S. and Canada.  
►LA United for Puerto Rico, a benefit for Waves for Water to bring clean water to Hurricane Maria-ravaged Puerto Rico, will christen the opening of new L.A. venue the Lodge Room in Highland Park, with Ty Segall (solo acoustic), Bleached, Rodrigo Amarante, Mikal Cronin, King Tuff (solo), William Tyler, Shana Cleveland, Shannon Lay and DJ Crenshaw of Permanent Records performing.  
► Post-hardcore heroes from opposite sides of the U.S., Thrice and Circa Survive reunite as co-headliners, playing two nights at the Shrine Expo Hall (tonight is sold out, tickets still available for tomorrow night), with Chon and Balance & Composure opening.
► Buzz Bands LA presents a special release show for Lone Kodiak’s EP “Feet in the Water”, at the Satellite, with Rachel Goodrich, STAL, and Cuesta Loeb opening.
► The Drums perform their second of three nights in support of their latest album “Abysmal Thoughts”, with Methyl Ethel opening at the Fonda Theatre.
► Bright shooting star Halsey brings her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour to the Forum tonight before moving on to the Honda Center in Anaheim tomorrow night.  Partynextdoor and Charli XCX open for both. 
► L.A. dream-pop outfit LANY begin one of two nights at the Wiltern before embarking on an international tour in support of their self-titled debut album. Dagny opens for both dates. 
► Draemings headlines the Moroccan Lounge, joined by Polyplastic and Strange Familia.
► And indie-rockers Line & Circle preview upcoming EP “Vicious Folly” live at the Lost Room.
