Morrissey scotched Sunday night’s concert at the Central Coast’s Vina Robles Amphitheatre because the onstage heating system wouldn’t work. Temperatures at the 3,000-capacity outdoor venue were in the mid-40s.

According to attendees’ reports on social media, it was well past showtime when a woman came on the P.A. and announced the show would not go on “due to an inoperable heating system onstage” and that the concert would be rescheduled as part of the venue’s 2018 season.

With Moz’s new album “Low in High School” due Nov. 17, it was the fourth scheduled concert on a tour that brings him to the Hollywood Bowl for two dates this weekend. Temperatures in L.A. are forecast to be in the low 60s on Friday and Saturday night.
