Quickly, now:

Jeff Lynne’s ELO, who gave memorable concerts in L.A. in 2015 and in 2016 (the latter with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra), have announced their first full U.S. tour in 30 years. Included: an Aug. 4, 2018 date at the Forum. Tickets will be on sale here at 10 a.m. Friday.

► Add this to your list of possibly ecstatic ways to ring in the new year: Chicano Batman, Hanni El Khatib and Thee Commons will team up for a Dec. 31 show at the Fox Theater Pomona. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

► “I am not usually a birthday or anniversary kind of guy but, just for once,” says Ian Anderson, in announcing the golden anniversary show by prog-rock forerunners Jethro Tull. “I won’t be a party-pooper either!” The show, “50 Years of Jethro Tull,” hits the Greek Theatre on June 1, and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
