► L.A. rockers Hunny host their second annual Winter Talent Show at the Echoplex, with Potty Mouth, King Shelter, French Vanilla, Ramonda Hammer and Field Medic performing.
► San Diego cholo-goth duo Prayers rock the Regent Theater in support of their new album “Baptism of Thieves,” with Thrown Into Exile and Black Mare opening.
► Tori Amos does the second of three nights at the Theatre at Ace Hotel.
► Australian singer-songwriter Hayden James headlines the El Rey Theatre, joined by BAYNK and Grace Pitts.
► Holidayfest, a free matinee show in Pasadena, brings Warbly Jets, James Supercave and Jessica Childress, to the outdoor stage at 345 S. Lake Ave.
► Cassandra Violet, who just released her “EP 4,”  and Naomi Greene team up for a late show at the Moroccan Lounge.
► Manchester’s Pale Waves headline the sold-out early show at the Moroccan Lounge, supported by the Candescents.
► And Kacey Johansing visits the Bootleg Theater in support of her album “The Hiding,” with the Domestics and Meernaa supporting.
