L.A. Witch returned home from their fall tour going full throttle on Thursday night, greeting a crowd at the Teragram Ballroom with the bleeding, reverb-soaked psychedelic punk on their debut album. Populated by many friends and family, the crowd danced and shimmied while the trio performed lit by a grainy projection of distorted imagery. They bathed the crowd in their gloomy, heavy psychedelia rock for about an hour, and then came out for a one-song encore, thanking the crowd for the warm welcome. The show was opened by psychedelic rockers The Mad Walls and Oakland’s Sugar Candy Mountain.

The bands play again Saturday night at the Constellation Room.
