The Breeders

Right before they played the El Rey Theatre in November, the Breeders tipped their hand: A new album would be arriving in 2018. This morning, the resurgent alt-rockers made it official. “All Nerve,” their first album in a decade, will arrive March 2 via 4AD. It will include the single “Waiting in the Car,” a song they began playing live back in 2014 that was finally released as a single last year, and the title track, a two-minute slow burn that was revealed today. The album reunites “Last Splash”-era members Kim and Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson and was recorded at Candyland Studios in Dayton, Ky. (with Mike Montgomery); Electrical Audio in Chicago (with Steve Albini and Greg Norman) and Fernwood Studios in Dayton, Ohio (with Tom Rastikis).
