After a year and a half of teasing (new songs) and touring (hard), L.A.-based trio Lo Moon have a date for their debut album. The self-titled affair, produced by Chris Walla (Death Cab For Cutie) and Francois Tetaz (Gotye), will be out Feb. 23. With the news, the trio — Matt Lowell, Crisanta Baker and Sam Stewart — released the new single “Real Love,” a soft-rocker that skews away from the ambitious soundscapes of early tracks like “Loveless” and “This Is It.” With twinkling electronics and dramatic build, this is aching romanticism for millennials and Moms alike, assuming Mom digs Peter Gabriel.
