Robert Tilden’s second BOYO album for Danger Collective Records, “Me, Again,” was released Jan. 19, but actually it’s been ready since before his last album, “Control,” came out in 2016. Channeling his vulnerability and regrets into lo-fi rock ballads, Tilden recorded “Me, Again” at several home studios around Los Angeles, with bandmate Ruben Radlauer of Model/Actriz) stepping in to track drums for part of the record. “A Social Death by Proximity (in Los Feliz)” alternates between strolling and sludge, with calm verses and noisy choruses carrying Tilden’s lyrics about the pitfalls of social life.
