Happy Sundays has announced the lineup for its greatly-expanded, eight-venue, day-long, free music and comedy festival at Long Beach’s Zaferia District on Sunday, Aug. 26.

Jake Snider (of Minus the Bear) and the Shrine headline a full itinerary of local, regional and nationally-known bands and performers, including Caught a Ghost, Death Valley Girls, the Paranoyds, Draemings, YIP YOPS, Holy Wars, Ramonda Hammer, Spare Parts for Broken Hearts, Lucy & La Mer, Emma Cole and Easyfriend.

The eight venues among a 1.5-mile stretch of Anaheim Street include Happy Sundays’ original home base, Alex’s Bar, as well as Urban Americana, Tidal Bay Beach Bar, Red Leprechaun, Iguana Kelly’s, Long Beach Playhouse, Los Altos Park and DiPiazza’s.

Free water will be given out all day by Boxed Water. The only requirement is that attendees bring “good vibes only.” Spearheaded by Scott and Julia Montoya, the festival was created to support local business, art, music and the community of Long Beach’s historic Zaferia District. More information is here.
