The new single from Scavenger Hunt is one of those bright earworms that makes you nostalgic for the summers of your youth. Unless, of course, you’re still very youthful, in which case we suggest you revisit “Wildfire” in eight to 10 years. It’s the work of singer-songwriter Jill Lamoureux and producer Dan Mufson, who first emerged in 2013 and jetted to the head of the field among synth-pop duos based not just on their songs but their strong live shows, which include guitarist Nick Annis and drummer Aaron Prather. “Do you remember when we felt so free? / Boys like you, girls like me” Lamoureux asks. Why, yes, we do. Their “Wildfire” EP is out June 23.
