Moons Of Mars, brothers Mario and Giovan Polanco, have a new song for anyone still clutching the last legs of summer. The reverb-soaked vocals and cool congas on “Poolside” evoke a feeling of melting in the California sun with ice clattering in your chosen cocktail as you slip slowly from chair to water, possibly fully dressed. Fresh off the heels of their spring-released EP “Free To Fly,” Moons Of Mars seems to be a seasonally inspired band, releasing something new every time the weather changes. The guys are working on material leading towards a full-length album, but for now we are happy to get lost in the swells of dilated guitar ebbing through this dream pop number.
