About

Buzz Bands LA is a regionally focused website covering rock, pop and noteworthy music made and played in and around Los Angeles. Founded in September 2008 by former Los Angeles Times deputy features editor Kevin Bronson, the site has become a must-read for music fans, concert-goers, the industry and musicians themselves. Buzz Bands LA co-presents live events, curates (or has curated) local festivals such events as Chinatown Summer Nights, Tarfest, Echo Park Rising and the Hammer Museum’s Also I Like to Rock series. Our tastes are shared with fans on two weekly radio shows: one on KCSN (88.5 FM) and one on the web’s The Independent FM,  showcasing emerging artists. Our choice music selections and news and concert coverage have earned us a steady growth in readership and social media outreach.

Bronson, a graduate of Bradley University, is a former sports writer and editor and graphic designer who worked in the newspaper business for 35 years.

In 2015, Daiana Feuer joined Buzz Bands LA as managing editor.
