Saturday: Polvo comes back around for a show at Spaceland. … Steve Earle and Tom Morello have another sold-out night at the Troubadour, as do Healy and Dunlop at Largo. … The reunited Sunny Day Real Estate, with reunited L.A. rockers the Jealous Sound, hit the House of Blues Anaheim. … DD/MM/YYYY opens for These Arms Are Snakes at the Knitting Factory. … In the great big wide-open spaces, you have Jason Mraz, G Love and Special Sauce and Brett Dennen at the Hollywood Bowl, and Foreigner, the B-52’s, Joan Jett, George Clinton and othrs at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre. … And at the Hotel Cafe, it’s Dawn McCoy’s album-release party. … Also: Michael Franti & Spearhead at the Wiltern; Blink-182 at the Palladium; Thursday’s second night at the Knitting Factory; the Rosewood Thieves at the Bootleg Theater; Mutemath and As Tall As Lions at Club Nokia; Learning Music at Echo Curio; and Fight From Above at the Viper Room.
