Friday’s frenzy:
‣ First Fridays at the Natural History Museum winds up its 2011 season with an appearance by the soft-rock collective Gayngs. Dirty Beaches open.
‣ Arctic Monkeys (new album: “Suck It and See) and the Vaccines (new album: “What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?”) rock the Palladium. That’s the Vaccines’ video for “All in White,” above.
‣ Local indie-pop whizzes Grouplove headline the Satellite, with Ohioans Walk the Moon opening.
‣ The Archers of Loaf reunion was apparently a pretty big hit at Sasquatch; the ’90s stalwarts play the first of two night at the Troubadour with the Globes opening.
And pop tunesmiths the 88 kick off a June residency on what figures to be a big night at the Hotel Cafe – they are preceded by a performances by Jenny O & Holcombe Waller and Barcelona.
