Eagle Rock Music Festival features Flying Lotus and other Low End Theory standouts in diverse lineup

The 13th annual Eagle Rock Music Festival has it wired. The daylong neighborhood affair along Colorado Boulevard will feature 11 scions of the L.A. beat scene – the Low End Theory stage boasts performances by Flying Lotus, Nosaj Thing and the Gaslamp Killer, among others – and enough of this city’s top indie music to make a junction function. Health, Shadow Shadow Shade, Rooney and Mia Doi Todd are among the artists playing the festival’s eight stages.

The festival runs from 4 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. A $5 donation is requested (though organizers say no one will be turned away due to lack of funds).
