Buzz Bands L.A. Show, today at 11 on Moheak (special Echo Park Rising preview)

0

Echo Park Rising goes off Saturday at multiple venues in the neighborhood, and today’s Buzz Bands LA Show on Moheak Radio is devoted to 31 of the more than 100 artists and DJs performing at the festival. Yes, I had to leave a lot of good music out when preparing today’s program, but I hope these two hours of L.A.-bred tunes whet your appetite for Saturday. There are even a couple premieres included in today’s show – we’ll hear new music from Future Ghost (playing the Buzz Bands LA stage inside Taix) and Salt Petal (performing at Echo Lake Coffee). Beyond that, there’s a feast of tunes from bands playing the outdoor stage at Taix, the Buzz Bands LA stage, the Echo, the Echoplex and many of the area’s smaller shops and galleries.

Tune in at 11 a.m. Pacific time for the Buzz Bands LA Show.

Set times and a map for Echo Park Rising are available on a special page we’ve devoted to the festival.
