Support KCSN tonight – join me at 7 p.m. for a special L.A. Buzz Bands Show on 88.5 FM

The L.A. Buzz Bands Show on KCSN is going on 2 years old, and through almost 100 shows now I’ve done my best to bring you the best and freshest songs – from the most diverse spectrum of southern California artists of any L.A. local-music show – every Sunday night.

In the next week, we ask that you make the switch from KCSN listener to active donor. Through April 28, we’ll have loads of thank-you gifts and premiums when you become a contributing member. Tonight starting at 7, I’ll not only have music from the likes of Silversun Pickups, Youngblood Hawke, the Neighbourhood, PAPA, Deap Vally, Hands, Bad Suns, Broken Anchor and Seven Saturdays, I’ll be jumping to the phones to help with our pledge drive. KCSN is listener-supported public radio that programs in excess of 55 minutes of music per hour, and to keep the songs flowing we’re asking that you help. It’s easy – call (800) 795-5276 to have our volunteers fill you in on the CDs, concert tickets or restaurant gift certificates available to contributing members, or pledge online at KCSN.org.

After the jump, this week’s playlist:

Broken Anchor, “Never Leave me Alone”
PAPA, “Put Me to Work”
Deap Vally, “Gonna Make My Own Money”
Big Black Delta, “Huggin’ & Kissin'”
Youngblood Hawke, “Rootless”
The Neighbourhood, “Let It Go”
Seven Saturdays, “One in 3”
Hands, “Brave Motion”
Banks, “Fall Over”
Bad Suns, “Cardiac Arrest”
Freedom Fry, “Friends and Enemies”
Gliss, “Blur”
Hanni El Khatib, “Family”
Rhye, “Last Dance”

… thanks for listening
