Indie-rock sextet NO [pictured], folk-rockers Chief and indie adventurers So Many Wizards have been announced as headliners for the Los Angeles Zoo’s annual summer music series, this year going by the name “Roaring Nights.” The 18-and-older events also feature comedy, food, libations and other adventurous encounters, with the zoo’s residents and zookeepers.

The series runs three Thursdays in July from 7 to 10 p.m. So Many Wizards kick it off on July 11, with Chief performing  July 18 and NO on July 25. Tickets are $18 for general admission, and $15 for Greater L.A. Zoo Association and KCRW members.
