Feels like the first time? Well, kinda. Today’s Buzz Bands LA Show is the first on the newly rechristened The Independent FM, but it’ll feel an awful lot like the past couple years of shows felt when our favorite Internet outlet was called Moheak. Today, my two hours of SoCal music will include new songs from PAPA, Incan Abraham, Dreamers Dose, Artifacts, Yellow Marbles, Spencer Livingston, Blake Hazard, the Greyboy Allstars, Young Light, the Pocket Rockets, Forth and HOTT MT. Yes, that’s a whole lot of new, but that’s what we do. To finish off the show, though, I’ll dig into the archives to play a song from a band I featured 10 years ago this week when Buzz Bands was a mere sprite of a newspaper column.
