The L.A. Buzz Bands Show officially swings into spring today, and in a big way. Join me at 9 p.m. on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org) for the following goodies: I’ll be premiering the new song from Robert Francis. I’ll have newly minted songs from Magic Wands. Charlie Wadhams and yOya. And because it feels like a good Sunday night to trip out a little bit, I’ll have a segment devoted to a handful of local bands playing the Desert Daze festival, April 26 at Sunset Ranch Oasis near Mecca – including Habits, Fever the Ghost, Allah Las, Kiev and Deap Valley. You’ll hear some Fool’s Gold, DWNTWN and Beginners as well. Oh, and because longtime faves Dios have gone and announced a show to mark the 10-year anniversary of their debut album, I’ll dust off one of the gems from that album as well. It’s more fun that I should be allowed to have in a single hour.
