Tokyo Police Club’s new album “Forcefield” might have a companion video game, but there wasn’t much gamesmanship Thursday night at the sold-out Echoplex – just the Canadian quartet’s distinctive, catch rock songs. Bay Area indie-rockers Geographer opened, turning in yet another exuberant performance (as they seem to do whenever they visit), and Said the Whale kicked off the evening. Buzz Bands LA contributing photographer Carl Pocket, meanwhile, worked on his (double) exposure.
