Long Beach’s free “Summer and Music” (SAM) series kicks off June 28 with a free, all-ages show featuring Allah-Las, California Lions and Greater California. The event, titled “Dancin’ in the Streets,” will be held in the Promenade between Broadway and 3rd streets.

SAM’s other shows will be “Twisted at the Pike” at Rainbow Harbor on July 11 (featuring De Lux and Fartbarf), “Bicycle Drive-In” on North Pine Avenue on Aug. 2 (featuring a movie screening and Rosie Harlow & The Tall Tale Boys) and the annual Buskerfest on Sept. 6 in the East Village Arts District. Acts are to be announced for the latter.
