Patti Smith’s landmark album “Horses” turns 40 years old in early December, and in January the iconic singer-songwriter will play the album in a show at the Wiltern.

The concert will be Jan. 8. Ticket range from $53 to $85.20 (including fees). They go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday here.

In other news about the woman known as punk rock’s poet laureate, Smith will appear at the Orpheum Theatre on Nov. 16 in conjunction with the release of her memoir “M Train.” “An Evening With Patti Smith” is part of ALOUD Series of the Library Foundation of Los Angeles.
