You’re familiar with the famous festival held on a polo field. How about a festival with actual polo?
Yes, the games will be on and the wine will be flowing on Saturday, Oct. 7, for the first Santa Barbara Polo & Wine Festival, and the organizers weren’t horsing around when it came to the music lineup for the day: Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires will headline the one-day event, joined by LP, Nick Waterhouse, Durand Jones & the Indications and Vieux Farka Toure.
The event will be held at the 106-year-old Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, and KCRW is a presenter, with five wineries participating. There’s even a suggested dress code — and you can learn what a chukker is.
General admission tickets ($75 plus fees) get attendees into two polo matches and the musical performances. VIP and premium VIP options are available. Tickets available here.
