QUITAPENAS to headline 4th of July Block Party in Grand Park

Southern California ensemble QUITAPENAS, purveyors of infectious tropical Afro-Latin music, highlight the festivities at downtown L.A.’s annual 4th of July Block Party presented by Grand Park and the Music Center.

The free and family-friendly celebration runs from 3 to 9:30 p.m., with a fireworks display emanating from the rooftop of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion splitting the headliners’ set. The celebration will feature interactive art and food truck fare as well.

Front Yard Stage (Lawn between Grand Avenue and Hill streets)

5PM: Computer Jay and The Weird Science (DJ)
6PM: Rhettmatic (DJ)
8-9:30PM QUITAPENAS (with fireworks at approximately 9)

Back Yard Stage (Lawn next to City Hall and between Broadway and Spring streets)

3-9:30PM: Soulection DJs featuring Joe Kay, Andre Power, and Andres Uribe
