HIGHLIGHTS
■ You ever look at the lineup for one of these online festivals and think: What I wouldn’t give to actually see that in person? Yeah, it’s that way with today’s “Safe and Sound” virtual benefit concert. It features Matt Berninger (The National), Aloe Blacc, Grouplove, Young the Giant, Nathan Willett (Cold War Kids), Milk Carton Kids, Frank Turner, Phantom Planet, NoMBe and more. It’s a benefit for Safe Place for Youth and it starts at 5 p.m.

That’s why I made it in the first place. Sometimes life hurts. You know what I mean. This is the one that got away.” Last week, he unveiled a song from it:
■ SXSW was felled by the COVID-19 crisis, but some of the festival’s programming is going online. Today, it’s author Lawrence Wright (“The End of October”) with New York Magazine’s Lila Shapiro, and Thursday has author Rohit Bhargava. SXSW staple Rachael Ray is on deck for June 2. Keep up on SXSW’s offerings here.
