Fitz & the Tantrums schedule drive-in shows at the Grove of Anaheim

L.A. pop faves Fitz & the Tantrums will play a pair of drive-in shows in September at the City National Grove of Anaheim.

The band, who released their fourth album “All the Feels” last year, will perform Sept. 5 and 6 as the latest in the Grove’s Drive-In OC series. Andrew McMahon kicks off the series this weekend, and Common Kings have a pair of shows on July 17-18. The Fitz shows will come one week after the 10th anniversary of the release of their debut album, “Pickin’ Up the Pieces.”

Fitz & the Tantrums tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the Sept. 5 and Sept. 6 shows.

■ In other drive-in news, country musician Randy Houser will kick off the Concerts in Your Car series at the Ventura County Fairground on July 11. The schedule includes Fishbone and Ozomatli on July 18, Third Eye Blind on July 25 and Fitz & the Tantrums on Aug. 29.

■ And ICMYI, the drive-in concert with Los Lobos and Mariachi El Bronx, which had been scheduled for July 4, has been postponed until Aug. 29 because of COVID-19 concerns. Tickets still remain.
