The pandemic might have broken Wand’s stride, but not the L.A. band’s spirit. The quintet, who released four albums and an EP between 2015 and ’19, are doing a West Coast tour in support of their most recent release, the double-LP “Laughing Matter.” The tour brings them to the Teragram Ballroom on Thursday, Dec. 9, for what promises to be a special night. The band — founding members Cory Hanson, Lee Landey and Evan Burrows, along with Sofia Arreguin and Robbie Cody — will perform two sets, including, they say, some old tunes they’ve never played live. It’s their first L.A. show since January 2020.
