Wire celebrated 40 years with a vibrant headlining set at the DRILL Festival at the Echoplex on Saturday night, the day after their 15th album, “Silver/Lead” was released.
The DRILL festival, March 31-April 1, is curated by legendary quartet Wire, who celebrate their 40th anniversary by releasing a new album that weekend as well.
Day 2 of FYF Fest went from mellow to magical to maniacal, with ecstatic sets from Grace Jones, LCD Soundsystem and Mac Demarco closing out the 2016 edition.
