During their weeklong stay on the other coast, U2 has been doing it. Getting their boots on and playing secret gigs, that is. The Irish rockers will do one in Los Angeles on Monday, and it figures to be a small show. I hear the location will be the venerable Capitol Studios, but that could change. Heck, U2 could even do something really cool … like play a three-hour set at the Troubadour. But then, of course, there would be a line on the horizon. KROQ-FM is giving away tickets (along with trips to similarly cozy affairs in Chicago and Boston). If Bono is looking for a blog sponsor, I stand at the ready.
