It’s rather music video noir in the Ravi Dhar-directed treatment for the Polyamorous Affair song “New York City.” We follow the husband-and-wife team of Eddie Chacon and Sissy Sainte-Marie on a soggy tour of NYC in all its disconnectedness, leading up to a steamy rendezvous at the famous Chelsea Hotel. Compelling stuff. Eddie backgrounds the video for Dazed Digital – and also itemizes the duo’s other doings: A deluxe reissue of “Bolshevik Disco” is coming in May from Manimal Vinyl, followed by the release of their third album, “Strange Bedfellows.” The Polyamorous Affair, who plan on touring Europe extensively this year, will also have a track on Manimal’s tribute to David Bowie (LA Weekly had the details on that last week).
