Download: Ace Reporter, ‘The Pacific’ (and more)

Every so often last year, I visited Ace Reporter’s website to check in on his ThreeSixFive Project – the Brooklyn songwriter’s seemingly crazy scheme to record a song a day for an entire year. I half-expected the man born Chris Snyder to call in sick one day, or make an excuse, or bow out gracefully. But the frontman of the States not only made it to the end, releasing some 15 hours of music, but fashioned more hits than misses. He just released the second of four free EPs that cull the highlights from the ambitious project, but you don’t have scroll very far through his site to find something remarkable. I swear I spent almost four hours one night browsing. And if I ever start a band, I’m gonna call it Veteran Scribe.
