M83, “Midnight City (Christian Strobe Remix)” – The new single from Anthony Gonzalez has been getting M83 fans in a tizzy with anticipation for the upcoming album, “Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming.” The original track boasts the French artist’s fine skills of crafting an amalgamation of dream pop, shoegaze and electronica, and Christian Strobe gives us a little more to chew on with his remix until the record’s official Oct. 18 release.

Metronomy, “The Bay (Clock Opera Remix)” – England’s Mercury prize-nominated electronic group Metronomy released their third studio album “The English Riviera” back in April, and their latest single, “The Bay,” has been given the dance treatment courtesy of electronic quartet Clock Opera. The original driving disco beats are sped up in this remix to allow even more fancy footwork. Metronomy plays the Echoplex on Saturday night with Nite Jewel.

White Denim, “Drug (Bjorn Remix)” (via RCRD LBL) – Austin’s diverse rock quartet White Denim has been on the road in support of their latest album, “D.” After receiving positive response to the record, it’s not a surprise that Bjorn of Peter, Bjorn and John has also taken a liking to the band. Bjorn offers his reinterpretation of their single “Drug” by putting a slower, calmer and hazier touch on this remix.
