George Sarah has a list of credits as long as the line at Wal Mart on Black Friday. Like a lot of songwriter-composers whose work is prominent in film and TV, he’s not a household name, except to the many household names with whom he has colalborated, and to the cognoscenti who’ve gained an appreciation for his two-plus-decade explorations in fusing electronic and classical music. Sarah’s forthcoming album “Who Sleep the Sleep of Peace” (due in April) features contrbutions from Bauhaus’ David J, Save Ferris’ Monique Powell and Morrissey songwriter Alain Whyte, among others. And, on the achingly beautiful “Anna,” Sarah teams up with singer Angela McCluskey (Wild Colonials), who penned the lyrics. Whyte and Tim Peterson man the guitars on the track, with the Pogues’ James Fearnley playing accordion and a string trio featuring Neel Hammond, Kate Reddish and Carter Dewberry. It’ll take the chill off a wintry day.

This is beautiful. Good work, George. I look forward to the full release.
I know when my heart aches when listening to a song how good it is.
Here it aches a lot.
Sublime.
