Leaps Days like today may inspire some to try different ventures, be braver and perhaps even grow up a little. But the guys in this clip for Moses Campbell‘s new track “Ceiling” remind us how easy it is to just be a kid and nothing else. In a similar vein to infamous best buds like Beavis and Butt-Head or Jay and Silent Bob, video games, beer, pizza and half-pipes are the only joys in life. Moses Campbell, on the other hand, have greatly matured since 2009’s “Who Are You? Who Is Anyone?” EP. Embracing an edgier, garage-pop aesthetic, the two songs on Moses Campbell’s “Deathbomb Arc Singles” are slacker, crackling fun. The band members themselves aren’t that much older than the teens we wrote of two years ago, but their Sean Solomon-directed video, and their new tunes, tell us some “kids” do know the difference between “can’t” and “won’t.”
