Stream: The Vaccines, ‘No Hope’

Well, that didn’t take long. Barely a year has passed since U.K quartet the Vaccines became the latest band to save rock ’n’ roll, their 2011 debut “What Did You Expect From the Vaccines?” inoculating U.S. ears against bloat and synthesizers. This week the foursome of Justin Young, Freddie Cowan, Arni Arnason and Pete Robertson announced that their second album, the brazenly titled “The Vaccines Come of Age,” would be out Sept. 4. The first single “No Hope” doesn’t quite have the home-run chorus of the quartet’s first-album hits, but as you’ll deduce from the lyrics, Young has been doing some thinking.
