If you’ve never been the schlub at the costume party in the video for “Real Love (Bandages),” then we probably have nothing to talk about here. If you have [or if you downloaded the song when we posted it in April], you know that songwriter Michael Davis, aka Michael Davis With Lions, has tapped into every lovelorn blood cell in our hapless bodies. The song is at the chewy center of MDWL’s EP “Bandages,” out today, and director Jeff Plunkett and DP Alex Simmons adroitly capture the stomach-churning moments when the protagonist’s object of affection is so close but so far away. What to do if you’re Pooh? Why, pick up a guitar, of course.
