Video: Lemonade, ‘Softkiss’ Kevin Bronson on June 19th, 2012 Share this:TweetEmail 0 </p> <p>As with many of the supposedly hot electro-pop bands du jour, there’s not much <em>there</em> there on <a href="www.truepanther.com/artists/lemonade" target="_blank">Lemonade’s</a> second album “Diver” (just out on True Panther Sounds). Like director David Franklin’s video for “Softkiss,” it’s sleek and well-done. But the Brooklyn-by-way-of-San Francisco trio overcooks everything, numbing the music’s ostensible ties to vintage R&B.
