Download: Moostache, ‘Everything As It Was’

It was hard not to sway to tracks like “Hands of Steel” off of Moostache‘s first EP, but now Patrick, Sean and Brian Wardell – plus Ryan Radcliff – are back with more on their recently released “Anything, Alone” album. Sure, you may still need time to get over the band name, but lyrics like “I was pulling girls like Ashton” sung in pop harmonies with playful chord progressions in “Everything As It Was” still rack up charisma points. Underlying melodies are also bigger in tunes such as “Blame Me,” but these snappy youthful anthems, like the snappy youths who’ve made them, have a lot going for them.
