Dinosaur Jr. plays with the concept of censorship in their music video for “Watch the Corners,” a track off of their upcoming album “I Bet on Sky” (due out Sept. 17 via Jagjaguwar). Directed by the Director Brothers, we see a young innocent girl fall for a pixel-faced skateboarding rocker boy and her over-protective father (played by Tim Heidecker of Tim & Eric) unable to see his daughter heartbroken. Members of Dinosaur Jr. are also pixelated, which prompts the question – how much of a bad boy is this guy if he’s got the same effects as the fuzzed-out indie rock heroes? Either way, a father goes to a grocery store and throws a pretty hilarious fit in the dairy section. Who knew a tower of mayonnaise could aid in such a victory? That raging guitar solo from J. Mascis definitely helps. “Watch the Corners” will also be on limited 7-inch vinyl Aug. 27.
