We’re not big fans of lyric videos, but we will make an exception for yOya, a band we love to hear but hate to spell. The Oregon-bred, USC-educated duo of Alex Pfender and Noah Dietterich emerged last year with their giddy “Nothing to Die” album, pop that was as fun as it was smart. “Come Alive” is their first single since – and here you get it in a video assembled from 5,107 still photos. Not included, the band explains: “Alex’s cat, who spent the whole time shut in the bedroom or he would have ruined everything in a split second.”
