Need something to help you wind down from the work week and gear up for the weekend? Greg Sheran and Nick Kosearas – aka Dream Panther – have got you covered with their hilariously-titled EP, “Beyonce’s Child.” Although one can’t be sure if Blue Ivy and her parents dig it, fans of woozy electronica, psychedelic guitar riffs and R&B vocals are bound to add it to their collection of breezy summer soundtracks. Hailing from southern Los Angeles and Huntington Beach, respectively, Sheran and Kosearas have translated their sunny upbringings into a kaleidoscopic soundscape spanning six tracks that bump and flow. Dream Panther is wonderfully hazy and accessible without conforming to electronic formulas. Just take a look at their video for “Chutes and the Ladder;” it’s difficult to deny the slow percolation which this duo thrives in.”Beyonce’s Child” is out now via Chill Mega Chill.
