Did we mention how much fun Lobsterfest was? The three-day frolic at the Port of Los Angeles on Sept. 13-15 was typically festive, satisfying crustacean cravings and rock ānā roll hunger, with Big Black Delta, Dead Sara and the English Beat headlining their respective days and surprises like preteen sensations Pretty Little Demons and string-wielders the Section Quartet sprinkled throughout the lineup. LA Font’s Greg Katz [above] put on his best bass face for the show, but if you tried cracking open the lobsters yourself, you grimaced too.
Photographer Jeff Koga was there to document all three days. After the jump, his galleries:
Friday: Big Black Delta, LA Font, Sad Robot, the Hard Knocks
Saturday: Dead Sara, Deap Vally, Nightmare & the Cat, the Section Quartet, Maria Del Pilar, the Damselles & the TC4, Echosmith, Glacial Walls, Pretty Little Demons
Sunday: The English Beat, Suedehead, Torches, Beat Club
