[It’s that time of year … when our inbox is full of holiday songs. We’re sorting our mailbag and will share one a day, all week:]

It’s becoming something of a tradition for Eastern Conference Champions – craft a holiday original and gift-wrap it in time for Dec. 25. Last year, it was “Nuclear Christmas,” and this year ECC has unveiled the propulsive rocker “Saving Christmas.” The song comes along with very merry video that finds bandmates Joshua Ostrander, Greg Lyons, Melissa Dougherty and Phillip Munsey in good cheer. From a band that once made a song called “Yuppy Hipster F*ck,” we’ll take this as a sign of glad tidings.
