When it comes to the name game in the music world, one letter can make all the difference even if both names technically mean the same thing. We heard from Wilding a couple of years ago, but now the music of Wildling (with an “l”) is making a splash around town. Comprised of members Ryan Levine and Andrew Ampaya, Wildling writes songs that fall somewhere between Lord Huron and Coldplay. Pleasantly accessible with uplifting tunes such as “Change Your Mind,” and harmless with romantic ballads such as “At Least You Know,” the duo’s music is perfectly suited for a pivotal montage scene. So don’t be surprised if you hear one of their songs blasting in the next Nicholas Sparks film.
