Fans of Bombay Bicycle Club and Tom Odell might be keen to 21-year-old U.K. songstress Rae Morris. She’s toured with both, and sings on the new Bombay Bicycle Club single “Luna.” Signed to Atlantic, Morris earned plaudits for last year’s “From Above” EP and figures to make a bigger splash this year. She spent last summer in L.A. recording with producer Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim, Vampire Weekend, Cass McCombs, Sky Ferreira, Charlie XCX, et al), and the deeply resonant “Skin,” with its striking video, immediately marks her as a memorable, mature-beyond-her-years voice. No release plans have been announced yet, but stay tuned.
